GOING DEEPER IN STEWARDSHIP - DAY TWO
Stewardship and the Heart
Stewardship cultivates an intimate relationship with the Lord. In our culture today, materialism and finances are central to our lives. It’s counter-cultural to apply the biblical principles of stewardship when we live in a very owner-centric mentality. We are naturally predisposed to feel entitled to our own money, and to have the freedom to use it as we please.
Stewardship education has to be part of our discipleship process, because without it, people are missing out on a key part of their relationship with God. It’s not just an expression of our faith, but a foundational component of how we relate to God.
Every financial decision is a spiritual decision.
