We're Attending Give Conference - and We Hope You Will Too!
Building a generous church is hard. It may even feel impossible at times. But it doesn’t have to be that way. In just a few short weeks, the CSN Team is heading to Augusta, Georgia to attend Give Conference!
SecureGive is hosting Give Conference, an event specifically designed to equip pastors with the resources, connections, and tools they need to build a generous church. Give Conference is an opportunity for you to connect with other pastors that are like you and learn from leaders who have been where you’ve been.
In today’s article, we want to highlight some of the things we’re looking forward to at Give Conference.
Why Attend?
It’s no secret that giving trends have steadily declined over the last few decades. Give Conference is a great place to receive encouragement and support as like-minded ministry leaders come together to learn how to cultivate generosity in their churches. Growing generosity is not about increasing numbers, but about growing in discipleship. One of the conference speakers, H.B. Charles, Jr, said it so well in his conference interview:
Stewardship is discipleship. To follow Jesus is to submit to his authority in every sphere of life, including your finances. Therefore, pastors must teach their members to live generously.
The Bible is filled with financial stewardship principles, practices, and promises. Teach the scriptures clearly, carefully, and confidently. On the authority of God’s word, challenge your people to live with open hands.

When is it?
The Give Conference will be September 20-21, 2021 at Stevens Creek Church in Augusta, GA. Monday will start off with a Pastor Appreciation Dinner, and Tuesday is packed with 3 main sessions and two breakout sessions. You can view more information here!
