Matt Gates

Matt Gates is Executive Pastor at Victory Family Church where he has served in several capacities since 2000. For the first 18 years of his employment at Victory, Matt was the Church Business Administrator. Professionally, Matt served on the board for The Church Network and as the president for the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of The Church Network for multiple years. He is a certified financial coach through Dave Ramsey’s ministry and has developed a stewardship ministry with the local church.

Currently, as Executive Pastor, Matt is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and decision making of church policies and ministries. This includes strategic support and execution of the vision of the church as the primary representative of the Senior Pastor. He was educated at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is a Certified Church Administrator.

Matt is passionate about leadership development and helping church leaders reach their full potential. He has led numerous ministries and small groups and is well respected by all who know him.

Matt has been married to Laura for 28 years and has two children: Jared and Megan. He enjoys traveling, sports, and playing golf.
